Dr. Schauer is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Slaton Schauer Law firm, PLLC, and handles all financial aspects of the business.
A former dentist who garnered over 100 five-star ratings, he decided to sell his practice and join the law firm so he could spend more time with his wife and two daughters (and have a more flexible schedule!).
Dr. Schauer grew up in Houston, where his mother still lives independently – despite being declared legally blind over 10 years ago. His experiences handling her care have given him an in-depth understanding of how important planning for families is, and how creating a clear, thorough plan can positively impact someone with special needs.
In his off time, Dr. Schauer enjoys gardening, playing piano, and – along with Regina – following the activities of their daughters, which include Irish dance, volleyball, golf, and academic competitions.
Dr. Schauer has a degree with honors in Chemistry from Texas Tech University and a Doctorate from the University of Texas.
